Train

I don't know what got into me. When I was in California earlier this spring, my brother, mom and I went to IKEA. While shopping I saw this cool wood train set. I liked it and decided to buy it for myself.

This is what you can build with two standard kits and one extension package. The kid in me never dies I suppose. Pretty sweet, eh?

Photography

It has been a very exciting, fulfilling, educational two days. Photography at the Summit is on this week (a photography workshop hosted here in town). In conjunction with the summit they have had evening lectures that are great.

Last night was David Burnett and Joe McNally. Tonight was Jay Maisel who I was introduced to earlier this morning. We also had a reception attended by the workshop students that I helped out with. I also spoke with David Burnett.

If you haven't heard of these photographers, google them and take a look at some of their work. Very impressive photographers.

No photo tonight. I would place one of these photographer's photos up but I don't think that is very cool.

BFA Show

One of Darren's students is displaying his BFA work this week. It is a creative approach to a unique space. I'd love to see the space used further in similar ways.

My Truck

I love my truck. It has served me well. Here is a small milestone.

Kind of strange to think I have driven this truck for over 100,000 miles. I bought the truck with about 32,000.

Here is a picture Darren took of me and my truck last summer. Also, you can see me and my truck in my profile.
