Distraction from Photography
So one reason I have not posted much lately to my blog is that I have not been doing much in the way of imagemaking. Ever since getting Darren hooked on fly fishing he has not harassed me to go out and photograph nearly as much. Instead, we go fishing. Yes, even in the middle of winter.
Recently, while Darren was out of town, I took advantage of another friend being in town from Washington to spend the day fishing with him and his dad instead of the usual weekend spent out with Darren. Check out on what Darren missed out on while he was away.

Ooh, Pretty!!!!
I'm planning on taking Mr. J. fishing this year. He keeps talking about his Uncle Jon taking him, too... Did you say something to him?
Those look yummy!
I need a guide this fall for some fishing up there. You know anyone?
Sorry Jon. I just don't get it. I don't understand the interest in catch and release. It is a nice looking fish. I want to know how you prepared it and how it taasted, not how it was caught. Oh well.
