jon, i seem to have offended one of your readers with my references to marshmallows. apparently, they like marshmallows as much as LensBabies. i suspect it's some frumpy view camera user with a 12 inch Protar.

You offend somebody? Nah. I didn't think you offended anybody?

However, I am too also curious to why the marshmallow reference.

Oh, guess what, I have another place to show my installations from Portland. Yippee. More work.

that is excellent news about your show! where is it going to hang.

as for marshmallows, i can't remember how we got started on it. i know brian chimed in for a bit, too. it originally began from what water looks like at slow shutter speeds, namely, marshmallow creme.

Getting a show is definitely a double-edged sword. I'm living it right now.

I got up this morning at 4:30, lay awake staring at the cieling...couldn't sleep. Went downstairs and stained frames for an hour, worked on an image for the show until 6am, went back upstairs and laid down. If I didn't have to get the kids out the door for school I'd have fallen back to sleep.

Where is your stuff going to get hung?

Until it is more under wraps I don't want to publish it on the WWW. I'll tell you in person where it might be but I don't want it out there for the world to see until it is more definite.

It won't be as big of a deal as Portland or other shows but it will be good. Lots of work.

I feel for you mike. My portland show took up over 2 months of my time. Many nights spend staring at the ceiling.
