Happy Birthday Dad

Good evening dear friends. The above image is from my first outing with my old digital camera way back when, shot 9-13-2005 (1.6 sec at f/22, focal length 40mm - I love digital and all the info it saves.)
Darren and I hiked into Sheep Falls on the Henry's Fork of the Snake river. This is an image that I haven't done anything with but I thought it was kind of nice so I posted it here. Note: I am using my blog to show images that may never make it to print but I thought may be nice to show to some people - not that anybody reads my blog.
Anyways, Today is my dad's 82nd birthday. I am 28, he is 82. Kind of strange. I thought about doing a photo project documenting and doing writings in the time frame between our two birthdays. However, I am not as ambitious as I could be and well, I guess I am lazy. Plus it wouldn't be the type of project I envisioned since I am no longer living that close to him. I may still try to do something but I probably won't make it as serious as I have thought about doing. Plus, I still need to buy a digital camera.
Well, I am putting off what I should really be doing. Tomorrow I am presenting at the Center for the Arts here in Jackson. I am showing my work to a small group of people. It should be pretty easy, I just talk about me and my art work while showing slides. It will be somewhat casual. I am planning on picking some work from the last 6 years and talking about how my work has evolved, where I have been, previous projects like my MFA and Teton Dam, and where I am now and future projects I see myself doing.
Well, I have lots to do and it is already late.
Good times. Goodnight. And happy birthday Dad. I hope you have another exciting year ahead of you.
